We are reaching more than 1100 votes in one day, which I believe is quite great for the first week since the site got launched. Thank you for voting and please keep doing it.

Talking about voting, I got some feedback from voters already. First and foremost ... yes, I'm aware that the ability of voting from the widget would be nicer. This feature will be implemented in future versions. I chose to do the voting from the website and not from the widget because of two main reasons: First, I honestly don't know how yet (I just have to research into widgets a bit more) and second, I want people to visit the website. As I mentioned in my first blog entry, this is just the beginning, the site will change a LOT in the next week based on input from people and ideas I'm developing. The site is the best way for me to keep you updated. So, keep visiting, there is more to come.

Some might ask what's this all about. Well the idea is very simple (at least for now), you vote if your in a good or bad mood. After voting you're able to see if the world shares your feeling.

It seems like the idea is catching up, yesterday I uploaded the OS X widget to the Apple site, where the widget was chosen as Staffs Pick giving me the nice surprise that people are actually digging it. Thanks to Apple and the people for downloading the widget.

About the development, I'm doing this for fun in my free time. I do have a full time job as a web designer, so bare with me with the updates ;). I actually have some ideas thought out, like votes by region, widgets for myspace, scrapbook and some more, probably releasing them next week.

Anyway, if you like the idea, you can help me out by sharing it to your friends, keep in mind that the more votes the site has, the more accurate the result.
